The Doctor Takes a Wife [VHS]
Loretta Young
,
Ray Milland
RCA Columbia Pictures Home Video, 1988
hilarious
The Doctor Takes a Wife is fantastic! Right up there with The Farmer's Daughter, also starring Loretta Young. Not quite as sweet, maybe, but definately funnier. The one-liners are hilarious. I watched it with four other people, and we all loved it. A must-see!

"One drop would save my soul...half a drop!
I first saw this drama years ago in college and never forgot it. The hauntingly beautiful verse of Marlow's magnificent tragedy so eloquently spoken by Richard Burton caused me to run out and immediately buy the drama. Elizabeth Taylor plays a minor character (Helen ...

I'll explain later--just watch this video.
OK, they had The Three Doctors, the Five Doctors, and The Two Doctors, not to mention pairings of Doctors in the New Adventures and Missing Adventures. Well, how does five Doctors in a short comic special sound, especially if one of those Doctors is Rowan Atkinson? The ...

One of the best of the Tom Baker years
This is denfinitely one of those episodes that you apreciate a lot more when your older.I remember enjoying this as a kid but being all of about 9 years old at the time the humor escaped me not knowing much about taxes or corperations at the time. But seeing it now I ...
Doctor Who - The Seeds of Doom [VHS]

20th Century Fox, 1995
This is a keeper!
The "Seeds of Doom" is my particular favorite in the Tom Baker Series. It has everything I look for in Dr. Who Series. Most memorable is the character development of the guest cast members, which is allowed to blossom over six episodes. From the "Mad Veggie" Chase ...

A Great Movie better in Blue-Ray
Dr. Zhivago has been one of my favoritet films since I first saw it in 1966. This new Blue-Ray Edition is superb. The music in the film is breathtaking as it comes through my sound system. I've watched all the extra features as well and found them very informative. ...
Doctor Who - Revenge of the Cybermen [VHS]
20th Century Fox, 1994
Unfairly Maligned
I base my rating of a story on whether or not I was entertained, and if what I just watched left me with a good feeling. This story accomplishes both. I find it hysterical that critics of Doctor Who stories use lack of realism as an argument, as if someone traveling ...

lovely old daggy stuff
well, this product is just what it says on the tin. Firstly, the tape is a very clean quality and there's a minimum of unneccessary stuff before the show begins - just the different logos (nb, for people used to dvds this may be disapointing. there are no commentaries ...
Doctor Who - The Time Monster [VHS]
BBC Warner, 2003
Pretty good actually
This is one of those stories that gets knocked in fandom as not being very good but I must disagree with that view. The story is tight and hangs together pretty well for being a six parter. The acting is very good from both the regulars and guest cast. The picture ...
