Lethal Ninja Ross Kettle, Norman Coombes
Lions Gate/Trimark Home Ent., 1994
Great action movie!
One of the best martial arts movies I have ever seen. The action seems more realistic.

Army of One (aka Joshua Tree) Dolph Lundgren, George Segal
Artisan Entertainment, 2001
A Fantastic high-velocity action thriller movie!
+ As always, Lungren delivers an outstanding movie!!!
I like Army of One the best out of all of Dolph Lundgren's films, it's one of the best action thriller movies I've seen and it's all high caliber action right from the start to finish. Wellman Santee's (Dolph Lundgren)partner is killed during a botched heist and Santee is convicted of a crime he ...

Back in Action Billy Blanks, Roddy Piper
Universal Home Video, 1994
Billy Blanks makes an action movie and action movie
Billy Blanks is the man who keeps thousands maybe millions of people in great shape. Combining that with the fact that he is a seven time world karate champion and has been in twenty movies all together it is exciting to watch. I don't have much to say really except for BILLY BLANKS, I LOVE ...

Hell Squad (Amazon.com Exclusive) Bainbridge Scott, Glen Hartford
MGM/UA Video, 2001
Astonishing.
+ Zero-budget cheese fest. I love it!
I can't begin to explain the ripple effect that this movie has had on our generation of filmmakers. Hell Squad's influence can be seen in the work of directors ranging from Atom Egoyan to Lars Von Trier. Take the scene involving the bengal tiger/basement dungeon/metaphorically loose shackles ...

Cage II: The Arena of Death Lou Ferrigno, Reb Brown
ABC Video, 1995
Totally awesome!
This movie is worth every penny from the beginning to the end (with a stock-footage helicopter and a bazooka). Lou Ferrigno's acting talents are at full when he acts with one-liners and big biceps. I recommend this movie to all action fans who want to have fun and drink beer. Praize the Cage!

Steele Justice (Amazon.com Exclusive) Martin Kove, Sela Ward
MGM/UA Video, 2001
URBAN RAMBO
STEELE JUSTICE is definitely a movie from the 80s; from its "hip" score to its post-Vietnam stigma, this action movie serves up a Death Wish type of vigilantism.
Martin Kove (Cagney and Lacey, Karate Kid, Barbarian) plays the studly hero, John Steele, who still fights the Vietnam war in his ...

Steele's Law Alan Ackles, John Cadenhead

A decent low-budget action flick!
Without breaking any boundaries,'Steele's Law'will appeal especially to those unpretentious viewers who are looking for action rather than a more substantial plot.

Slaughter's Big Ripoff Jim Brown, Ed McMahon
MGM (Video & DVD), 2001
Much Better Than "Slaughter"
A lot of people feel that the original "Slaughter" is the best one, but "Rip Off" is a much superior sequel. This is still a "revenge flick", but the characters are far more intersting. Jim Brown gets to have alot more fun and alot more sex. The added bonus is Dick Anthony Williams portrayal as a ...

Return to Frogtown Robert Z'Dar, Denice Duff
York, 2001
Not as good as the first, but still kind of fun
Fans of Hell Comes to Frogtown will be a little disappointed in this one. Sam Hell is back, but this time he is not played by Roddy Piper, but by the amazingly jawed Robert Z'Dar. Sam is now a member of the Texas Rocket Rangers (guys with jet packs and really silly helmets). He has been assigned ...

Pentathlon
+ Excellent Movie Very realistic
Dolph Lundgren plays Eric Brogar, a part of the east german pentathlete squad competing in the 1988 Seoul olympics, he defects to the U.S.A buts gets a bullet in the leg for his troubles, and soon spirals downwards into a pit of despair and depravity, needless to say he conquers his inner demons ...

Deadly Heroes Michael Paré, Claudette Mink
Columbia/Tri-Star, 1997
Unexpected Pleasure!
+ A Guilty pleasure. Pare and Golan always deliver a good film
I admit to being a big Michael Pare fan. But he is an aquired taste and some of his stuff...weelll enough said. This is a typical B action movie from the creators of Missing In Action series. Mr. Pare has worked with them before in Killing Streets & First Light. I guess the reason I like this movie ...
