The Sot-Weed Factor (The Anchor Literary Library) John Barth
Anchor, 1987
Spectacular; a hilarious tour-de-force
+ A hilarious book + A Truly Inspiring Work...
There are already some great reviews of this book here. Suffice it to say that "The Sot-Weed Factor" is a bona fide riot and one of the five or so novels I'd choose to be stranded with on a desert island. To think Barth was in his twenties when he wrote it is bewildering, so proficient is the ...

The Innocent Harlan Coben
Signet, 2006
Simple Plot with Complex Twists
+ A serious page turner + A little familiar, but still a great read
Harlan Coben has yet to disappoint me. The Innocent is really not an overly complex plot, yet at the same time it offered depth that really kept me interested. The characters have complex personalities and the plot twists, as with all of Coben's books that I've read, continue to surprise the reader.
