Under the Banner of Heaven: A Story of Violent Faith Jon Krakauer
Anchor, 2004
Krakuer takes a different direction
+ Religious Extremism Examined
I truly enjoyed Into Thin Air. Under the Banner of Heaven was completely different subject matter. I found this no less engaging, Krakuer again draws you in with nothing more than what it is, a great story needing to be told.

St. Martin's Griffin, 2005
An amazing semi-autbiographical fiction novel!
+ WOW + shantaram
One of the few things more amazing than the novel "Shantaram" is the man who wrote it; Gregory David Roberts. I watched a video conference with him and much of the book seems to be taken out of real or similar events that happened to him, particularly the major events in the book (prison escape, ...

The Innocent Man John Grisham
Dell, 2007
Well researched documentation - remarkably written!
+ Innocent Man A Must Read + Book Review: The Innocent Man by John Grisham

The nonfictional narration is constructed as a history of a criminal case and less intended as a thriller. In the ...
