City of Bones (Mortal Instruments) Cassandra Clare

The Ultimate Thrill Ride
+ Awesome book for adults + something positive
I've read most of the other reviews here and must say, this is definitely a love it or hate it book. Personally, I loved it. A YA Writer myself, I'm not normally a fan of urban fantasy. There have been some rare exceptions, such as Melissa Marr's Wicked Lovely, but as a whole I'm not a heavy reader ...

Engaging Werewolf Fiction
+ An underrated, good read
I agree very much with E.R.'s review of this book- it is a wonderful story with a very engaging plot. I disagree with it being banned, especially when in comparison to today's television programming, but I'll leave it at that.
If you don't mind a book containing what I believe is on par with ...

Fantastic Series
+ Keep them coming! + Enchanting Review: The Dead Girls' Dance
This series is absolutely fantastic. It's a young adult series but it definitely shouldn't stop anyone from reading it (I mean look at Harry Potter, we all read that, and it started out considered a Middle Grade series. A good book is a good book, no matter the intended age group.)

Tantalize Cynthia Leitich Smith

A Page Turner
+ A supernatural romance with cowboy boots and were-armadillos
On a recent drive back to Austin from El Paso (a long drive if you've never done it), my wife and I took turns driving, the passenger reading aloud from Tantalize, something neither of us had done before. We found the book to be a page turner, as well as helping us chew up the miles of asphalt. The ...
