Motel Hell Rory Calhoun, Paul Linke
MGM (Video & DVD), 1995
I can't help but give this move five stars.
+ What An Unbelievably Funny Movie! + Motel Hell and Pizza, a winning combination!
The first girl I ever kissed was in it (she was one of the twin girls who ran screaming in the beginning). So "H," if you're ever feeling narcissistic enough to read the reviews of this movie, I just wanna say hey.

Edward Scissorhands (Full Screen Anniversary Edition) Johnny Depp, Winona Ryder
20th Century Fox, 2002
One of those films you'll be thinking about for days afterwards
+ Great movie + Soup's on! I thought this was shish kabob?
This film is odd. Think of Desperate Housewives. Think of Pinnochio. Think lame love triangle. Think tortured genious. Then mix in Johnny Depp and Tim Burton, and you've got yourself an incrediby moving film you just won't be able to get out of your head for days afterwards. I don't know enough ...

The Birth of a Nation Spottiswoode Aitken, Mary Alden
Delta, 2004
Beware of those skeletons in your closet...
+ Birth of a Nation-the birth of cinema + A brilliant, albeit revisionist, romp
Throughout my cinematic life there has always been that one film that both critics and audiences have agreed, both time and again, to be one of the greatest films created. Upon watching sed film, I was unimpressed. It was grandiose alright, but a continued classic? This critic would have to ...

Why it took this many years for the distributors to put out a widescreen disc of this film is beyond me... Thankfully, they finally wised up. And it was great to hear that they would also be including a slew of extra features as well.
This is one of my favorite movies from the 80's, so I'm glad ...

+ What Women Want + What Women Want
The movie starts a little emotional. Nick (Mel Gibson) is so arrogant that he doesn't even notice, what people around him happen to think about him. When Darcy (Helen Hunt) is promoted as his boss, his philosophy of life crumbles ... From this point, the movie makes a very enjoyable comedy. The ...
