I like this product. The only think you really have to concern yourself with when creating creme brulee is the time in the oven. Everything else is pretty much taken care of.
The unit is heavy duty and good quality.

This is the perfect torch for use in the kitchen. Small and fits nicely in your hand. Bought it for one purpose and that was to make the delicious crust for my creme brulee. So much easier than having to watch it in the broiler.

I havent had a problem with this torch at all. I bought it to complete a creme brulee basket I bought for my husband. It was very romantic having my husband make me Creme Brulee for dessert and with the torch my husband looked like a real professional.
