2009 collection from Dave Grohl and the Foos including two brand new tracks, 'Wheels' and 'Word Forward', both recorded with producer Butch Vig (who also produced Grohl's former band, Nirvana!). This excellent collection features some of the finest melodic Rock released in the last 15 years including 'The Pretender', 'All My Life', 'Learn To Fly', 'Best of You', 'Times Like These', 'My Hero', 'Everlong', and many more.

ALL WRAPPED UP IN ONE !

I have always enjoyed listening to 'The Foo Fighters' and would always turn the volume way up when I would hear them in my car...I just never bought any of there CD'S...Until this...I was made just for me...All of the songs are my favorites...How lucky can you get...Worth the money...It's a classic !!!

i bought this for Times Like These and another but i don't know the name of it, it's where they're singing I don't owe you anything, but it's not on there. other than that it's all right, not the best album i ever listened to.

Foo Fighters - Greatest Hits (2009)

I admit that I've never owned a Foo Fighters album besides this one and have only listened to what the radio has given me. So my review may be a little biased. But the main song I wanted on this album was the Acoustic version of 'Times Like These', but instead 'Everlong' is the Acoustic track they decided to go with. But hey that's fine! The regular version is decent enough.

Though all these "hits" are really nothing special. If you've heard David Grohl scream on one song you pretty much know the rest. Yes FF was and is better than Nirvana ever was, but that's not saying much. Grohl's ex band was nothing but one big pity party for Kurt Cobain. And it still amazes me that Grohl has a voice after all these years of screaming every other song.

The only highlights here for me is 'Best Of You', 'Times Like These', 'Monkey Wrench' (Guitar Hero got me hooked) & 'Wheels'. I'll certainly not be in a rush to buy any other album by FF.
