Heap of cardboard for $270!

This is the biggest rip off I've ever seen! For this amount of money I expected something very sturdy and elegant. This item came completely un-assembled in six pieces of flimsy composite wood and one cardboard globe. Upon assembling the product several of the screws broke, stripped or split the fake wood. I've been trying to return this product since the first day I received it (almost one month ago) but US Markerboard / Brite Inc. is giving me the major run-around. Do not buy this product unless it's on sale for under $50 because that's what it's worth. And do not buy anything from this company. They are un-responsive and disorganized.
