Margaritaville maker

This machine works like a charm and is so easy to use. Every household should have one of these not just for margaritas but other slushie type summer drinks. It is very easy to use and works very fast. Takes very little effort to clean and the only draw back is it is a little large to sit on the counter for everyday. I follow directions by taking the ice out of the freezer about 15 minutes prior to using the machine. I haven't had any problem to date and would recommend this to everyone.

Wonderful concoction maker.

As a seasoned margarita maker/drinker this machine is wonderful. A little pricey, yes, but worth it. We have three in the family and everyone is thrilled, no complaints. Just follow the instructions and you won't be disappointed.

I LOVE THIS MACHINE

Margaritaville DM0500 Bahamas 36-Ounce Frozen-Concoction MakerAfter trying several blenders, and a large "margarator" that broke twice, I wanted something that really did the job. Got it with this one. Took no time at all to figure out how much liquid to how much ice. It is great. It really keeps up, even with a large crowd. It is fun to use too. I highly recommend it to anyone that really enjoys a good margarita.

Perfect gift

I gave this to my mother as a birthday present and she loves it. She even takes it with her to parties. Makes great drinks!!!

performance too much like that of a good blender

We bought the Margaritaville Concotion Maker because we love all sorts of frozen drinks and smoothies. The results are altogether satisfying though not always. It frequently happens that, if you use the automatic shaving and blending option, you get watery, tasteless margaritas. Knowing the maching a bit, we are able to produce nice drinks, but we expected finer ice crystals and a smoother texture than our blender can produce anyway. Therefore, if you have a well-working blender, the margaritaville might be redundant.
