Reliable Results In Seconds Earcheck is designed for a child's sensitive ears, sending pleasant sound waves (chirps) down the ear canal. To use the monitor, first have your child sit upright. Then place the tip of the EarCheck in the outer canal. Press the scan button to obtain a reliable reading and, in seconds, the echo of the sound is analyzed to determine the presence of middle ear fluid.
The easy-to-read light sensor indicates when to consult a doctor. If a child is diagnosed with an ear infection, you can monitor whether the fluid is gone and the ear infection is clearing up.
Designed With Physician Accuracy Earcheck features the same patented proven acoustic reflectometry technology used by thousands of physicians since 1997 and a technique recommended by the American Academics of Pediatrics and Family Physicians.
