Looking for simple, high-quality scanning in one super-sleek machine? Four easy buttons automate the entire process, so it's a snap to scan, copy and create e-mail attachments or PDFs. Your results will be impressive, with

Compact & Functional
This
scanner
met my expectations. Choosing what software to install can be confusing, but I installed all, and after testing each one, I uninstalled what I didn't need (I kept the driver and PhotoStudio 5.5). It can do multiple scanning, and with the Advanced Mode, you can manipulate different settings and options. It does a decent job in scanning pictures, documents, etc.
Cannon Scanner; a great product
I'm not a "gadgets" person but I love this
scanner
. It is very easy to use and the photos and documents scanned come out better than the originals. I'm exceedingly pleased with it.
great scanner
This is a small, lightweight
scanner
. It will fit into a computer bag alongside your laptop. There are no separate power cords to lose or get tangled, since it uses the USB cable to the computer for power. I have a Mac and it works great; no compatibility problems whatsoever.

Decent affordable scanner
I was looking for an inexpensive
scanner
that would allow me to do "one-button" copies to a printer. This one seemed to fit the bill. The scan quality is very good, and since this scanner uses LED lighting, there's no warm-up wait. Scans are quick with an acceptable amount of noise.
I had one setup problem. The front panel buttons, such as the Copy one I was mainly interested in, would only work one time after installing the scanner driver. If I uninstalled and reinstalled the driver, the buttons would work one more time. I discovered that the buttons would work repeatedly if I left them configured to always prompt for a program to run. That isn't "one-button" copy, though, so I kept looking into it. I finally found that a quirk in WIA (Windows
Image
Acquisition) requires the "Terminal Services" service. I had disabled it on my machine. Starting the service fixed the operation of the front panel buttons. Now I get easy "one-button" copies.

Works with Vista 64bit
Great item. Works great with Vista 64 bit. It's nice not having to deal with a power cord. Great product.
