Impressive Printer

Very impressive multifunction do it all combination. Faster than my previous printer. More water resistant black print. Can't be beat for the price point.

I am so happy with this printer. I had an HP Photosmart printer that I got with a digital camera one year and am glad I decided to purchase this Canon off the daily deal! It's very user friendly, the pictures print fast and are beautiful! You can't go wrong with this printer!!

My old HP broke and thank goodness for that! The ink was like a million dollars and it would last me about 2-3 weeks. I got the Mp610 back in February and it's June and I STILL have a really good amount of ink. I go to college so i'm constantly printing out a zillion powerpoint slides and papers. Plus, it's really fast. The only downside was the size. When it was shipped to my house, i was shocked at how bulky it was, but honestly, it's worth it, i guess i could say it's sturdy? I totally recommend it :)

Canon Beats HP

After almost a month, I am convinced that Canon makes a better printer than HP. I have owned the P1100 HP photoprinter for some years and it was only ok... The Canon Pixma MP610 has been wonderful so far, with no problems at all. It is fast, easy to install (tech support even helped me make it work with a networked Win98 computer) and has so many features for it's relatively low price.

Just too big|

I can't speak for the quality of the printer or the output because I returned it before use - thus the average rating. The dimensions in the specifications are the closed size. When you extend the paper tray and lift the cover, its more like 22" deep and 15" tall. If you want both paper trays open at the same time it's even worse. It was just too large for the only space I have for a printer in my office setup. I wasn't ready to buy new furniture just to keep this printer. It's a very handsome machine and has gotton many good reviews. Just make sure you have lots of room.
