Most toys are played with for a couple weeks then shelved this is still in heavy use Great Sound - Great Value I bought this electronic drum set for my six year old boy to pound on (and maybe learn something with eventually). Having a percussion background, I immediately started looking at the more expensive models from the better brand names. I found that the cost for a set that had 7 pads and two pedals was way out of line for my son's use. However, I wanted to have the 7 pads and the 2 pedals so he and I could both enjoy playing it as a five-drum kit with 2 cymbals and a hi-hat. I made the decision to get this unit and have not had a single regret. Great sound with the pre-programmed kits and the programmable sounds as well. I used a simple practice pad stand and made a mount for the drum kit.
