Just what I needed!

I absolutely love this light. I needed a light for my daughter's room who is 5 months old. I was finding that the lamp put off too much light for a good night's sleep, so I needed something with a faint glow. The light gives me just enough light to check on her and change her diaper if I need to during the night and it provides comfort for her. She sleeps so great now with this light! I highly recommend this product.

We have this and the pink one. This definitely has the softer glow, more tranquil color. The pink one lights up a neon pink that is almnost a red light at night. This one is a soft, light lavender color, lighter than pictured (at least on my computer.
