Performs as advertised

Purchased this product online and it seems to do a pretty good job of monitoring our blood pressure. Wife had major surgery last month and we wanted to be able to track her recovery relative to her blood pressure. On her check up visit to the doctor last week we brought the monitor to the doctors office and checked against theirs. The numbers were a little off but the nurse said it was not enough to be concerned with. We use ours in the three times averaging mode so as to get a more accurate result. The Health Management Software is invaluable for when it comes time to review with the Doctor. We simply print out the results and take it to his office so he can review it.
I would highly recommend this product especially if you want to have a recorded history of your readings.

I think Omron 790 IT is the best Automatic Pressure Monitor on the market. Very accurate and easy to use!!! My mom loves it!...PC interface helps a lot.

Este equipo lo importe desde USA hasta Ecuador con mi servicio de importaciones privado para mi madre y mi abuela. Perfecto estado de envío. Tiene muchos accesorios y un manual fácil de leer y comprender. Vivo en una ciudad a 2500 metros sobre el nivel del mar y la precisión del instrumento no se ve afectada significativamente. El registro interno es muy util por que se lo puede exportar a una PC e imprimirlo para llevar control grafico y estadístico. La precision del instrumento depende del correcto posicionamiento de la banda (ojo con esto, he leido quejas que se dan errores de medicion e inexactitud que no son validas). Debe colocárselo de manera exacta porque sino los resultados pueden verse afectados.
El sistema TruRead con tres mediciones consecutivas a intervalos exactos es lo que garantiza una medición mas confiable.
Funciona conectado a una entrada de corriente AC o tambien solo con las baterias, lo cual le hace muy portátil y útil en caso de emergencia o para medir en un lugar donde no haya un tomacorriente.

Great Blood Pressure Monitor

My husband has already accelerated high blood pressure. When he received it, the monitor said his systolic and dystolic pressure was high. We took the monitor to our primary doctor to see if it was reading accurately. It was very accurate from the doctor's nurse checking it out. He likes using it and then downloading the information from the monitor for his doctor instead of putting the tedious numbers of the systolic and dystolic pressure readings into a spreadsheet. It was expensive but worth the software to record the information that is kept automatically when he takes his pressure twice a day.

A Worthy purchase

It is a nice product. Though, I have not tested it rigrously, it seems to be gr8 .I'll be sending it to my parent for use. The best thing is connectivity with computer as you can store much more information records.
