EVERY BABY IS DIFFERENT!

I used this for my third child, and loved it. Unfortunately, it was only used for 2 weeks, but those two weeks were excellent. Now I roll up blankets and put her in there. I did the same for my other two children and they loved it also. Babies are used to feeling close because thats all they've known. This product was awesome!

Comforting

I bought this for my 6 week old (at the time) because she needed someting to elevate her slightly and keep her feeling more secure in the crib. As soon as we started using this positioner, her restless nights of sleep came to an end. She is almost 4 months old now and still using it. I know at some point really soon she will be big enough to roll herself off of this, and then we will have to get rid of it. I am not overly concerned about it, because her crib is right next to my bed and I can hear every little peep she makes. However, if she was sleeping in her own room away from me, I probably wouldn't be comfortable leaving her in this positioner. For us, so far so good, no problems with rolling off and she sleeps really really well.

In my opinion, the heartbeat/vibration feature is a waste of money. I tried it only a couple of times and it kept my daughter awake, so obviously I haven't used it again. I wish I could have gotten the same positioner without that feature and saved some money. After all, this is one of the priciest positioners out there. Overall, since it helped my daughter sleep more comfortably, it was worth the money.

Baby loves it!

We bought the positioner because our 1 week old has some congestion and our pediatrician recommended we keep her elevated. The baby sleeps very soundly in the positioner and its very portable so we can place her in it in the lounge rather then leave her in the crib. We were contemplating getting a second portable crib but this fits the bill nicely. We havent had problems with the head rest as reported in other reviews.
