Sing away while the animals play! Through rhythm, rhyme and sing-along songs, little ones can rock out and sharpen learning skills like counting, numbers and animal sound recognition. Younger learners can play with the guitar on the floor, pressing the fret buttons and turning the knob in the center. Older tots can engage in true rock-star style, holding the guitar while it plays. Three fun learning modes can be used in both English and Spanish. In Number Mode, whimsical songs introduce counting. Animal Mode helps kids make the connection between animals and their sounds. My niece loved it!

A great gift for my now 3 year-old niece. Now she can play along when her parents play Guitar Hero :)

Cute and Fun

This is a fun toy for about a ten month + age child. The good thing about it is that it is portable. The child I purchased this for had a little piano that isn't portable. He likes this just about as well. It has a stret button, and a lever that plays fill in background chords. He likes the music part the best, but it also has an animal sounds mode, and Spanish. It would be better if it had more variations on the songs. Or more songs.

Five minutes of fun

My 13 month-old son played with this toy for about 5 minutes before walking away. He hasn't been interested in it at all despite my trying to engage him with it. It doesn't seem to have enough challenge to keep him interested.

Nice but...

I really like Leap Frog toys and my sons have a lot of them. I must say thought that this guitar was a bit of a disappointment. I thought that they would play with it much more but they got bored with it quickly.
