Walk
stool
Comfort
18in (45cm), 22in (55cm), and 26in (65cm) sitting heights, are for people that like to sit very comfortable. The seats are approximatly 40%, 60% and 80% bigger than a normal seat for a three legged stool. The
high
er the sitting height, the bigger the seat size. Ranging from 18" like a normal chair to 26" for hunters and tall people
Walkstool is a winner.
I am an avid birder. Unfortunately, I am also sixty-seven and have back trouble. Many of the best sites for birds have nowhere except the ground to sit and rest which is hard on your back and your clothes. This
stool
comes with me when I go to birding and it has been wonderful. It is surprisingly light to carry and easy to set up. It is also quite
comfort
able when you sit on it. It has enabled me to go further than I could before and has saved a lot of wear and tear on me. One other nice thing as well. When you first enter an area, the birds tend to freeze in place until they become accustomed to your presence. With this stool, you can sit quietly AND comfortably until the birds become used to you and start moving again.

Walkstool - Well worth the money
I had gone through several versions of
portable
stool
s in my work as a professional sports photographer. Stools are allowed or even required for some events like pro soccer or in the photo well at some MLB parks (where there never seem to be enough chairs and paying fans are sometimes right behind you so you can't stand up). I tried a free three-legged stool given by my bank; it lasted two games before one of the legs broke. I bought one at local sporting good store - it made it through 4 games before the webbing started to rip off two of the legs. Then a buddy showed me his
WalkStool
and I knew this would be a product I could use. It's built like a Swedish tank (I think the company is Swedish). Not only is it very, very strong, but It can be quickly folded up and snapped to your belt or other equipment, and it's so light you hardly notice it's there.
Don't waste your time trying to save a few bucks. I weigh > 200 pounds and really didn't want to be sitting on something only to have it give way underneath me when I needed it most.

Good portable sturdy stool
The
stool
feels very sturdy. I bought it to pack along on photowalks. It folds up compactly and is not difficult to carry along.
The only concern I have are the plastic parts. They feel pretty sturdy, but let's see how well they hold up. I am afraid that in cold weather they may become brittle.
