Great first TTC book to read...

My husband and I are looking to start a family in the next 5-6 months. I just finished reading this book and found it to be very informative, especially for someone who is just taking the first steps at learning how to optimally prepare for trying to conceive. It is written in simplistic language (which could seem overly simplified and repetitive to those who were already familiar with the information but was absolutely perfect for me, who just wanted to soak up all the information I could and fully understand what steps to take to promote pregnancy in the timeframe we are hoping for). I think it is perfect to read about 4-6 months prior to trying or if you have been having difficulty in conceiving, as the author does take a significant amount ot time explaining possible causes and alternatives.

This book is a brief but good overview of the critical highlights of conceiving a child. I recommend the book. It does highlight the need for preconceptual care and other issues people don't think of before trying to have a baby.
