On sale is 14 sets of 7" premium quality double-point bamboo knitting needles with assoted sizes of US 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9,10,10.5, 11, 13 and 15. Each size has 5 needles. Sizes in US and metric are permanently etched onto the needles by laser. These needles are exclusively distributed by "Oriental Touch LLC" at Amazon under the brand name of "Stanwood". They are the BEST we have ever made. They are first sanded to super smooth using the finest sanding paper and then lightly hand rubbed with a thin layer of wax to improve the smoothness. great needles!

being an avid knitter, this was one of the greatest values i ve bought this year. unlike steel or aluminum, bamboo needles are so easy on your hands; your hands wont hurt because the needles are warm, not cold. i love them! not to mention, you will have all the double pointed needles you will need in one collection, and the price is right!

These are a great way to get a bunch of needles for your knitting needs without breaking the bank, a way to get knitting to the masses!
I will say, they are not as smooth as other bamboos I've used, they have a bit more resistance. I did have a needle splinter as well, which was annoying halfway through my project, as it snagged the yarn. But I contacted the company (I tried to reach them through Amazon, they didn't get the message, I had saved the receipt and their e-mail is on that, and they responded immediately) and they priority mailed me a new set of the size right away. So make sure you save your receipt!

This product was shipped so fast and the seller was great to work with. the needles are pretty good too. they are smooth but not as slippery as i would like but they still work great.

I haven't tried them yet but I did inspect them when I got the needles, just because of the other reviews on here. I am a little concerned about the smaller needles, though they seem like they would be sturdy enough, as long as I use the right yarn and nothing too heavy or bulky for a small needle (which probably isn't the right to do for any sort of knitting with such small size needles anyway). They are rather smooth without being overly waxed out, so I think they'll have good grip and hold. They are warm to touch (I've always used metal needles so far) and a certain organic comfort to it, maybe because it is wood/bamboo. The points are sharp enough without being too sharp or too blunt.

Not the Greatest but Still Useful

It's really nice to have a whole set. I'm a beginner and got tired of never having the right size. These are made out of very light bamboo which bends in the smaller sizes and just feels too light in the bigger sizes. I suppose they use the bamboo that's not good enough quality for the more expensive brands. These needles can double as cable needles. They are very rough. That's good because they don't fall out of the loops, but is also bad for many types of yarn that don't slide through easily. I also bought the 29" circulars which I don't recommend as the quality is just too flimsy.
