Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 is what I wanted and recieved in a very timly manner. Ovel all good experience.

Although a bit expensive, necessary to make my computer do what I need it to do....best price around was here with free shipping and no sales taxes...

MS OFFICE 2007

At first impression MS Office 2007 appears to be much improved. Unfortunately, I have not been able to fully evaluate it because of the time devoted to technical support.

Initially, I experienced errors that prevented the calendar and mail to display. Later, it was only the mail and this happened sporatically. I use MS Hotmail as one of my mail accounts and this account would not appear from time to time and could not be displayed. I found it necessary to restart Office which sometimes worked and if not, I would restart my computer. Naturally, this is very frustrating when one has a lot of work to do! Then add the time on the phone with support (sometimes over an hour) and it is intolerable. I truly began researching Macs out of frustration and may yet be compelled to change OS.

After numerous calls to support including a number of times when support was given free control to solve the problem the best that support could say was, "We'll keep your issue open and I'll do some research to find out what is causing the errors." Bottom line is that it was not resolved.

My fear has been that there are other issues lurking that I have not discovered and will not have free support when they appear. Support did say that as long as the current issue was not resolved I would have free support for that issue - but what about the other parts of Office '07? I switched from Palm to MS OS when I purchased a Treo. If Office '07 is continues to be a problem I will be stuck with the phone and software! (Note: Palm Treo is available with Palm desktop software as well as MS.)

I'm beginning get an appetite for fruit... maybe an Apple!
