Better than small electric--just the right size

Definately glad I made this purchase. Works great, just the right size for urban household use; decks, driveways, washing your car (just don't get too close).

I initially bought a Karcher 1650 psi electric pressure washer which I had used to pressure wash my driveway and deck. (this washer is sold under many different brands, but its the same thing) It worked, but barely enough to do the job. I also had to use the special "pulsating" nozzle to get the job done.

I received a $100 gift certificate from my sister for Christmas, so I thought I would upgrade to something slightly bigger, as I just needed a little bit more 'oomph'. Definately glad I made the purchase.

It arrived with no problems, everything intact and with several accessories. I really like the mesh bag to hold all the parts and pieces. It was a 'warm' day in January, so I decided to fire it up. Filled it with oil, (its a four stroke, so no mixing oil w/ gas.). It was a bit hesitant to start, so I squired some starter fluid (automotive starter fluid) into the air filter, and it fired right up.

Its a bit loud versus electric, but about the same as a lawn mower. Definately has a lot more power than my electric version. I used it to clean a portion of my driveway, and it worked with no problems. Haven't tried the deck, but I'm sure it will work much better. Also used it to wash my car, and grimy wheels, did that with no problem. The single jet works extremely well for that job. It didn't get the baked on brake dust, but then again, I wouldn't expect it to capable of doing that.

What else, oh yes, definately like just having one "cord" the garden hose attaching to it, then you just have the spray gun. With the electric pressure washer, you're fumbling with the electric cord getting tangled up with the garden hose and sprayer hose. Then your electric extension cord gets dirty, grimy, gritty from all the stuff you're cleaning and you get that on you when you're wrapping up the power cord. So can you tell I hate the electric power cord? DEFINATELY like the gas model.

I'm every impressed with this little unit. Would be nice to have wheels, but its not that heavy--actually think its kind of light. (I am 5'10, 180lbs, and somewhat fit, so take that into consideration).

Definately glad I made this purchase, well worth it. Hihgly recommend for the home user who needs to wash vinyl siding on their house, pressure wash their deck, and other jobs around the house.

Thumbs up.

Powerful compact Pressure Washer

Have been using an electric 1,250PSI washer for the last 12 years and decided to invest in this unit. After giving my driveway a cleaning this year, not only did I do it in 1/3 the time but the cleaning action was more complete. Unit arrived well-packed from the factory and once I put in the oil it started up with no hitch. If I had one suggestion to improve this, it would be the addition of some type of wheel system. Nevertheless, its easy enough to lug around with one hand. Highly recommended for multiple home cleaning projects.

Used 3 times

So far, this has been a great unit. Small and easy to store but powerfull enough to really clean. Starts up in 1-2 pulls if you prime it a few time extra. Great Product and the best I have seen at its price point.

definitly worth the money

It's the first valintines present my husband has ever really really liked.
usually I buy him a tool and he complains about the quality, but not this
time, I highly recomend this product to anyone.

great buy

this pressure washer set up quick, worked great, fit easily in the trunk and tucked under the corner of the workbench in garage. When the house painter used it to do a large project it worked beautifully.
