OK, But

I use my toaster mostly for English Muffins which are hard to remove from most toasters. When I saw that there was a lever on this toaster that would lift the item in the toaster for easy removal, I thought someone had heard my prayers (imagine, praying for the right toaster!) so I bought it.

It came as advertised and I suppose with regular toast it works OK. But I still have a problem getting my English Muffins out because the lever does not lift them high enough for easy removal. Guess I need to start praying again.

Other than that, it's a good toaster.

Fantastic looking toaster, But !!

This is one great looking toaster,in fact I constantly get complements from guests. The bagel feature works great,the defrost not so well.The main problem is with even toasting. If I put in 2 slices in on one side,it comes out uneaven. It could be dark on one part of the bread and light on the other,this could even be on one side of a slice. The worst is when you only put in one slice of toast,as I often do. One side comes out fairly dark,and the other bairly toasted.I did keep the toaster,even though I was on the verge of sending it back.As I said previously it looks great,also I did not want to go through the hastle of shipping it back and looking for another one. So I have to turn toast at times,could be worse. I found out this is a French product, that could be the problem. Style over substance.
