Excellent Purchase

I've purchased two, both as gifts. They are greatly appreciated by both parents and babies !

Love it! Even for 6lb newborn!

At first we thought the waist belt was too big and covered our newborn daughter's face, but we just twisted it a few times before fastening it, and it's perfect. She loves it and has loved it since getting home from the hospital. Even gentle hiccuping is enough to make it gently rock on its own. I'm not sure why it is as expensive as it it, but my husband and I agree, it's already been worth the money, and our daughter is only 3 weeks old!! Its light weight, easily portable, and it's not unsightly like many other bouncy seats!! I HIGHLY recommend this!!

Fantastic-- made all my other baby seats and swings obsolete

I wasn't sure that this would be worth the price. I now wish I hadn't spent the money on all the other baby seats/swings that we have and only used this. It's light, can travel easily, it keeps my baby occupied and near by since it can go all over the house. We got it when he was 3 months and he's now 5 months and still loves it. I love that the toys are wooden and that there is no need for batteries or motor replacements (his swing was twice as expensive and broke even though it was hardly used). Great product!

good condition

Our baby had to adjust to it... at first he didn't really like it. Now he can sleep in it, but we do have to rock him in it before he sleeps if he is not sleeping yet. His body does not naturally rock it back and forth (up and down). We are hoping that as he gets older (he is now just about 2 months) that he'll grow more used to it and rock it more. It is not a total waste though, he does sleep in it alot, mostly in the daytime. However, it's kind of bad because he gets so used to it he has a harder time sleeping in his bassinet. Hopefully the money that we paid will equal out if we keep using it. However, the bad thing is the playthings (those little teddy bears). We took them off and haven't put them on since, and now I can't figure out how to put it back on and have it stay. He did not like those teddy bears though.

I thought the baby would like it more ...

The baby enjoyed sitting up in the corner of the sofa, so we thought he'd enjoy this infant seat. But he doesn't. He'll sit in it about ten maybe fifteen (tops) minutes maybe before he wants to get out, and he always looks unhappy when he's in it. We bought it when he was already three months old and 15+ pounds so we could no longer use the "nap" position, which left only "playing" and "resting" (we didn't know the "napping" position only went until 15 pounds until we got it). He was not a baby who ever liked to be rocked, and doesn't seem fond of the bouncing. In fact, he's a really active baby and when he gets fidgety and wants to get out, it starts to bounce and I think it confuses him. The quality and design are great. I wonder if he would have liked it more if we'd got him into it earlier ....
