I love this can opener

I have been trying to switch all my small appliances over to the color red to match my kitchen. When I saw this can opener, I was pretty excited. When I received it, I wasn't disappointed. It opens can with ease-much better than my old one. It has a knife sharpener that I haven't used yet, but plan to. I loved the deep color red and the stainless steel at the top. It is very nice looking and a wonderful addition to my kitchen. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

This can opener is sleek and modern and opens cans smoothly and efficiently without splashing the juice all over the counter. I like the fact that it is tall so it can open taller cans. I love it!

should have a safety opener mechanism

The can opener is the correct shade of red and works well. I have a hanilton beach can opener now the has a safty and resealable mechanism but is in white and this one is red they should combine the features of both can openers together that way you will get the color you want with out the cuts on your hands.
