My Weigh 35 pound Electronic Scale. Operates on 4 "C" batteries (not included). This great scale will weigh in pounds & ounces or grams & kilograms. From 0 to 2 pounds, it weighs in tenth ounce increments. From 2 to 35 pounds, it weighs in half ounce increments. From 0 to 1 kilograms, it weighs in two gram increments. From 1 to 13.6 kilograms, it weighs in five gram increments. Has a tare feature so you can place a container on there-set it to zero and measure the contents accurately. The scale is 8 inches wide, 8 inches deep, and just 3 inches tall. This scale's got a good sized weighing platform... it's 8 inches x 6 inches! plus 30 year warranty

exactly what I needed

I purchased this scale to weigh newborn puppies- it was very easy to use and measured in ounces which is what I needed. Probobly would be difficult to use for larger breeds as surface is not that big but for smaller breedes it was fine.

Am comparing it with a smaller postage scale which I have which I like better. This scale is supposedly on zero but the number constantly moves, instead of remaining on zero as my other one does. As a result, I do not know if the result is accurate. When asked about this, I was told that 'interference' from something electric could cause this with no solution.

Then it will remain on point 2 of a ounce or similar number.

My other scale which weighs just to five pounds does not do this, it might not be accurte but at least I do not worry about its accuracy.
