Bodum Pavina glasses provide superb insulation for both hot and cold drinks due to their unique double-wall feature. Air trapped between the two walls allow you to hold onto a piping hot glass of espresso without burning your fingers, or prevent condensation from forming on the outer wall while holding a cold beverage. Made of strong yet lightweight borosilicate glass, these glasses can safely go in the diswasher and microwave.

Great!

I was a little uncertain about purchasing these glasses after reading negative reviews about their fragility - but I have to say our set of four has not given us any indication of cracking or failure. We do wash them by hand more than in the dishwasher, but that is more because of our fondness of using them than for their supposed fragile nature. I'd encourage anyone to buy these - they are beautiful and functional and much better than drinking from their plastic counterparts.

Nice Glass!

Keeps drinks cool- No condensation. Only one complaint: Too wide for small hands. Perfect for my boyfriend, too wide for my small (not tiny) hands.

I have a smaller version of these glasses as well I have heard that these break easily but I have used mine for months with no problem. HOWEVER, these don't mail well because they aren't packed correctly. I received one package and then gifted another one that were broken when they arrived. Had no problem getting replacements, though. They are very light and look cook with whatever beverage you enjoy.

Second times' a charmer! Worth the trouble!

Ordered 3 sets (total of 6 glasses); 2 sets arrived shattered which amazon replaced.
Initially return went smoothly, they requested that for security reasons I dispose of the glass... which I did, now I am being charged for the shattered items!! I am not happy at all with this, but this is an issue with Amazon, not this product.
Despite the stress over this I have begun to use my glasses DAILY, mostly for tea.... and I love them!
I am very careful though when washing and drying them, they do scratch very easily.
The 15 oz is perfect size, it's like a big mug, and feels nice to hold.
There are similar cheaper options (Double wall glass form Teavana), this is the one my brother uses and he is extremely happy... certainly doesn't wash his as carefully as I do, they seem to be less fragile than the Bodum ones.
Overall happy with the product, but don't expect it to last a lifetime.
