The main episode is "Daisy, la Quinceanera." This marks the first appearance of Daisy, Dora's cousin, who celebrates her 15th birthday, a milestone in Latin culture.

This is Daisy's second appearance. In Daisy's first appearance, Daisy asks Dora to play on her soccer team. This VHS is great. In "Daisy, La Quinceanera", Dora's cousin Daisy is having her special fifteenth birthday party-her fiesta de quinceanera. That's a special birthday birthday party where she'll be all grown up. Dora and Boots need to deliver Daisy's crown and shoes. Along the way, Dora and Boots team up with Diego, Daisy's 8-year-old brother. When the party starts, Dora, Boots, Daisy, Diego, and all the people at Daisy's fiesta de quinceanera do the mambo. It was amazing.

This VHS about Dora's cousin Daisy is great. My name is Daisy, too. I never knew how beautiful Daisy is. In Daisy, La Quinceanera, Dora and Boots are invited to her cousin Daisy's fifteenth birthday party- her fiesta de quinceanera. But first, Dora and Boots need to deliver Daisy's special crown and shoes. Daisy couldn't start the party without them. Along the way, Dora and Boots team up with Dora's cousin Diego, Daisy's brother. But when you get to the party, it's time to mambo! My favorite part was giving Daisy her special crown and shoes. Daisy was absolutely gorgeous. She is pretty as can be. She is more beatuiful than any other girl.

Not a favorite

My daughter loves watching Dora on television so buying this video seemed like a logical thing to do so she can enjoy it whenever she likes. We were disappointed with this tape. The music and voices are non-stop noisy, more so than on the t.v. shows; there are the usual English - Spanish words, which is fine, but the songs are so loud and annoying, and the dance sequences so repetitious, that after 20 minutes, my daughter wanted to turn it off. Acutally a lot of the dialogue is annoyingly repetitous too, not a plus in my opinion.

I happened to be reading while she had this tape on and after hearing the same verse repeated over and over and over again in the background, I nearly muted the sound just to avoid hearing it again! We have other children's tapes that repeat things for the purpose of teaching, like Sesame Street and Bear in the Big Blue House, but for some reason the constant "whining" sounds in the Dora tapes are not enjoyable.

As an aside, I recommend any and all Dora books, they are all colorful and fun to read, great teaching tools, and include all the favorite characters like the Map and Boots. As for the videos, I will stay away from purchasing these till I preview first to be sure they aren't like this one.
