Great product and alternative to throwing a multitude of plastic bottles in landfills to sit for a thousand years

Fantastic!

I got this as a present for my husband and I absolutely LOVE my Nalgene bottle! It's the first step in my quest to go green! It goes everywhere with me and now I don't have to buy a million bottles of water, I can just keep the same one! I highly recommend getting one!

Eddie Bauer 32oz Bottle is Better

I purchased this product because I lost the original Eddie Bauer 32oz bottle I had purchased at Target. Since then, I found my Eddie Bauer bottle and can now compare them side-by-side. Everything is pretty much the same except for these three features.

Mouth-Size - The Eddie Bauer bottle has a slightly larger mouth which feels much better to drink from since it is more similar to drinking a normal glass of water. The Nalgene bottle feels awkward and restricted compared to the Bauer. But then again, I'm 6'4" with a big mouth, so maybe I'm just too big for the Nalgene

Lid-Design - I carry my water bottle around by hooking the loop of the bottle lid on to my finger. The Bauer bottle has a wider band which is comfortable to hold when walking around from destination to destination (Note: I do not hike with these bottles). In addition, the Nalgene has groves around the lid for gripping. I accidentally dropped the Nalgene bottle onto these groves and now they are jagged and sharp, which makes it uncomfortable to open the bottle. The Bauer bottle simply has a smooth lid with some branding around it for added grip.

Bottle-Design - Both are made from the same "indestructible" lexan material. The Nalgene has a slightly thicker wall, which might be better if you think it might fall off the side of a mountain, but I've dropped my Bauer bottle many times thus far, and it is still as good as new. The Bauer bottle also has a little contour molded into the bottle, so it feels much more natural to hold.

Both bottles are satisfactory and do exactly like they are supposed too; I just prefer the Eddie Bauer 32oz bottle over the Nalgene.
