This beloved oratorio, a favorite at BYU and in Mormon arts circles, was recorded live in an inspiring performance by the BYU Singers, BYU Concert Choir, and Philharmonic Orchestra with guest soloists, and conducted by Ronald Staheli. Produced by Mark Sheldon of Minnesota Public Radio.
Beautiful Oratorio a la "Messiah"
This is a splendid recording of a contemporary oratorio by LDS composer Robert Cundick. It sounds brilliantly and gorgeously timeless, as sung and performed by the highly skilled students of the Brigham Young University School of Music. The chorus "He Is The Root And The Offspring Of David" will give you goosebumps. If you are a fan of Handel's "Messiah", this CD is for you
