Vintage Tech
@joehiphophead:
He didn't grow up in Olathe Kansas.
That's why he always says "KC, MO", as in Kansas City Missouri, as in, NOT OLATHE KANSAS.
Good one though joe. He grew up on 57th, and if you follow 57th enough to his house, you'll know he didn't grow up where you did, in your upper middle class house.
@everyone who thinks absolute power and anghelllic were his first two cds:
you're not very smart.
You say that this is better than his 'first' two albums. And you then refer to them as absolute power and anghellic. Those weren't his first two albums.

joehiphophead is abviously a total idiot. YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE A THUG TO RAP. Rapping is not about being hard, shooting people, selling crack or anything like that, its a culture and if you ever heard some pre Eazy-E/NWA hip-hop then you would realize that it wasent always like it is today. You can come from an upper class family or from a orphanage it really dosent matter if you have skill.
Now for my review. As said many times
Tech
N9ne is slept on like crazy, He proved that being able to download music promotes it not hurts sales. This album is a GREAT addition to the Tech fans collection, espically if you are just hearing about him now and you missed the early stuff. In this album he puts together a line of tracks that may have been on soundtracks (some of which never got released) or feature him but were only released independantly. So this is not a "new release" really its a "re-release" of a bunch of his old stuff, and it is not a "greatest hits" either, dont misunderstand that.

Some good classics on a major label release
If your looking to buy some
Tech
n9ne classics without having to pay an arm and a leg for it. this will be what you want. still missing essentials from calm before the storm and others.(IE ... questions and the original planet rock) overall i thought it was worth it here some of the rarities i had missed.
If you havent herd any of techs old stuff this is for you
Awesome
The guy who gave it 1-star is a fruitcake because you just can't deny
Tech
's skill. He pulled all that out of his [...] when he said he knew where Tech is from and stuff so don't listen to him. I saw him in concert when he came by and I must say it was freaking amazing. This is a great album and I would suggest buying it. I doubt Tech murders people but as far as his sex and drugs thing goes he is saying the truth... try the after parties of the concerts and you will know what I mean. SO to Joe... get out of here, and before you start talking whack stuff gain some experience, you nut job.

Even though there was a lot of stand out tracks on here, I think Tech could have picked some better tracks. Lots of the hooks could have been better but since most of these songs are old it's understandable. Another annoying factor is that Tech talks at the end of every track, I don't like that at all. Good album though, check it out.
