Nice looking, easy to install and works!

These bed rails are ultra easy to install and has worked beautifully for my twin bed. The price is very reasonable.

I built a captain's bed for my step daughter. It turned out a little taller than I had originally intended and I hadn't designed in some type of railing. This bed guard did the trick. I cut down the pieces to modify it to the application. I recommend this product.

Versatile and great for travel

I have bought so many of these PRIMO Adjustable Bed Guard rails I have lost count. The main problem is forgetting them in a hotel room when leaving early in the morning (we usually get very early morning starts when travelling with kids so that they will sleep for part of the trip). I have three kids, and we use these on all the beds at home. Yes, they do feel a bit "flimsy", however, unless your child actually gets up and leans on them (something they would have to do while awake, not asleep), they will keep them from rolling out of bed, which is what they are designed to do. You have to periodically ensure that they are "tucked in" properly and not sliding out of in-between the mattress and box-springs for them to be most effective.

What I value most about this bed rail is that it is very very portable. This is it's strength as well as it's weakness (the flimsy part; oh, and the leaving it behind in a hotel room part as well). I just pull it apart (it is all plastic and snaps together and apart) and put the pieces in my suitcase so that when travelling and staying in hotels we always have at least one if not two of these on hand to protect my 6, 3 and 1 year olds.

I have not found another bed rail that is as effective as this one while also being very easy to pack in a suitcase. The sliding tubular plastic design also allows you to shorten or lengthen it if needed to accomodate varying bed sizes or room layouts.

I also like the plain, glossy white plastic. It looks functional and attractive while easily blending in with any kid's room decor without unduly standing out.

I think the negative reviewers are a bit overly critical without realizing the strong points of the PRIMO bed rail. I buy what I feel are the safest products for my kids, and I am very confident these bed rails provide very good safety while also providing ease of use and giving me a product that can easily travel with my family.

Great product. Only one drawback, however - it's portability. Still, it works excellently and relieves you of the worry of your precious one suffering from a fall or injury. I would definitely recommend this product if you have a bed that is designated for the child and will remain stationary.
