Olive
is back! But this time she's not heading off to the North Pole to help Santa. . . . This time she's out to return a one-of-a-kind lost object: a heart. And not just any heart, but a heart as large as Olive's own.
In her search to find its one, true owner, she makes the acquaintance of a cast of characters who show her what it truly means to give all of one's love.
Only J.otto Seibold and Vivian Walsh could have dreamed up this wacky and wittily heartwarming story in which anything can happen if you only follow your heart.

The Otto books are always clever and beautiful, thanks to it's artist/author. It's great to be able to read books to kids that aren't populated by fuzzy chicks and talking bunnies. Give me

Olive the Dog
I have
Olive
the other Reindeer and wanted to get my son an Olive book for valentine's day. This book is cute although a little longer than I was expecting. It is a little bit strange but I would recommend it. It has a good message and is fun. I like the Christmas book better though.

a fun sequel to Olive the other Reindeer
In this charming Valentine's Day story,
Olive
, last seen helping Santa in Olive the other Reindeer, receives a giant heart from her friend Dexter the flying dog. Thinking he dropped the heart by mistake, Olive goes to great lengths to return it, helped along the way by an enterprising squirrel and a clever spider. When Olive discovers the heart was meant for her, the four friends enjoy a delightful picnic featuring bon bons, nuts, biscuits, and fly wings (which everyone except the spider is mysteriously "allergic" to). Featuring the same striking graphic design as in Olive the Other Reindeer, generated on the computer in Adobe Illustrator, the flat, whimsical illustrations add immensely to the story. The color palette features pinks, reds, and other traditional Valentine's Day colors. This story celebrates
love
and friendship and is a good match for Valentines Day storytimes or any storytime featuring love and friendship. Highly recommended for children four through eight.
