For once -- I didn't have to buy a new drill!

Amazon had a great price on this battery, about 1/2 the price of retail. Finally I wore out a battery without having to buy a new drill. Usually the price of the battery is about the same as buying a whole new kit, drill, battery, charger, etc. Goes against the grain to have to replace a perfectly good drill just because the OEM batteries are so expensive. I may just buy another! Shipping was free too!

Chordless Drill Battery

It was great to find a battery for my chordless drill and at a good price. Was delivered timely and works great!

Needed a new one

There is no point of having whole bunch of cordless stuff if you don't have the power to run it. Due to letting my battery's sit I was sure they were all useless as I seemed to be unable to get a charge on them. I got this to be able to use all that neet stuff that I have to go with my Black & Decker drill. This charged great and I am back to all those handy-woman things that I needed to get on with. I also found out that my other battries a ok, I just needed to leave them on the charger longer!!!

After the purchase of this battery pack I learned that it was not the battery pack that needed dreplacement, but the battery charger!So, I would suggest one of the following be mentioned with the battery packs -

1,Before ordering a battery pack check to see if the battery charger is still working properly.

OR

2,Some people who order a battery pack also order a batterya charger.

Great replacement battery

Considering I shopped around and these replacement batteries cost nearly as much as the drill was very disconcerning, even in generic brands. However, my drill came with lots of attachments and I refuse to throw them away, so I needed a replacement for my 6 year old batteries that no longer held a charge and this battery restored the drills' previous glory once installed!
