These mailers are great -- and with a Sharpie-type pen, you can easily write on them.

Mine are paper....and work great

I am not sure what the deal was for some, but I received my order, and I assure you that they are paper on the outside, not plastic. The envelopes are as described as are the dimensions. I bought them to send picture CD's to family and friends. I believe that these envelopes will do a great job of protecting the items during delivery.

Not As Described And Not AS Seen In Provided Picture

These bubble mailers are not paper on the outside, they are plastic. You can't write on them, so if you orderany, make sure that you have self-adhesive labels touse. Not happy with these mailers. One good thing about them though, you can fold them in half to mail a cassette tape, with no problem. The picture of the description needs to be changed.
