I did not want to wear a brace that loops around the thumb or has a metal brace in it, so I opted for this simple wrist band. Since wearing it for the past several weeks, my symptoms have abated. I'm very pleased with this band. Also, I initially adjusted it for the support I need, and instead of readjusting it each time I wear it, I just slide in off and on. Great buy! I bought this for my husband who was getting a sore wrist from so much time on the computer and using the mouse. He loves it. It's not bulky so he still has plenty of mobility but it provides enough compression so that he does not experience that ache at the end of the day.
