Rikki Tikki

I used to loved this movie and it's as good as I remember. I bought it for my 6yo because he loves the book and we've enjoyed watching it together. The Cricket movie is cute as well.

This is my favorite movie ever made i've looked for it for years and finnaly found it. It is great for children to watch. I have 2 kids myself even though one's 14 and the other is 10 they both fell in in love with it too.

Cool animation for adults and children

I liked this adaption of the Rudyard Kipling story. Orson Wells does a great job of narrating this tale of a pet mongoose who faces two cobras to defend his family. Might scare some young children. Good animation.

Mongoose movie

I loved this show as a child and looked forward to watching every Thanksgiving. It was a small let down only because I didn't remember it and it is so childish. I did like Yankee Doodle Cricket that is on the same DVD.

Uncomplimentary mix

Rikki Tikki Tavi is a skillfully written and playfully entertaining story of the rivalry between the two cobras and this adopted mongoose. It is another great short story based upon the works of Rudyard Kipling.
To be sold together with the corny, barely entertaining short cartoon film of little substance or value is disappointing to say the least. If this short film is needing of a complementary story, something more related in story-line or quality ought to have been chosen.
Rikki Tikki Tavi is worth the purchase, but waste not your time on this DVD's excuse to fill up space.
