Other than my order being erroneously shipped to New York first, insteads of Minnesota, thus being 2 or 3 days late, everything was fine. I couldn't be happier with my new floor lamp!

Safest Halogen I've found

Excellent light. This halogen floor lamp has an auto turn-off when it's tipped more than 8 degrees. Very good feature for fire safety since halogen lighting gets hot. Also has normal safety grill on top of light. Very good quality lamp.

A good lamp, I wish it was a different color

It is hard to find 300 watt halogen lamps - I suppose it has to do with fire hazards and insurance. We were happy to find this lamp and are satisfied with it. We would have preferred a black lamp, but this was all we could find.
