These Christmas classics were hand picked by Waters himself: "Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer" by Tiny Tim, "Happy Birthday Jesus" by Little Cindy, "Sleigh Ride" by Alvin And The Chipmunks, "Here Comes Fatty Claus" by Rudolph And Gang, and "Santa Claus Is A Black Man" by AKIM & The Teddy Vann Production Company, to name a few.

My favorite christmas album

I don't really like christmas music. This album I love. The best song Santa Claus is a black man. Gotta love it, the whole family chimes in. It's sooo cute. John Waters really dug up some great obscure tunes for this album. Great job. Enjoy!

John Waters Christmas CD

A very eclectic and also very enjoyable mixture of Christmas songs! I hate Christmas music personally, but this stuff is pretty entertaining. Be warned though: the tune "Santa Claus is a Black Man" will get stuck in your head for a long time.

A John Waters Christmas

This song has the classic, "Santa Claus Is A Black Man". If you are tired of hearing the same ole corny Christmas songs. These assortment of Christmas songs will have you rolling.

offended listener

I have been looking for years for the song "Happy Birthday, Jesus" sang by Little Cindy. When I got the cd I was so excited. As a little girl my Dad played the "Happy Birthday, Jesus" which was on a 45 record each year at Christmas. My Dad died when I was 13 and the record of the song got lost somehow. I planned to play the song for my three children and my seven grandchildren when we gathered for our Christmas celebration. I was rather offended when I first got the cd and my oldest son was here to visit so I put the cd in and we listened to the "Happy Birthday Jesus" and as it finished playing I was basking in the memories of Christmas past and imagine my surprise when the next song started playing. It contained profanity and was very offensive to me. I don't understand why that song even had to be on the cd. If they had left that song off of the cd I would have given it five stars.

it's alright - not great, not horrible. listened to it while i was traveling for christmas, good for a few laughs, but not nearly as clever as I thought it would be.
