Sandisk-Ultra-II-SD is a digital-media card that writes at up to 9MB per second and reads at up to 10MB per second. This permits fast results, especially burst mode pictures, when used with high megapixel digital-camera models.

More than enough for my 8mp camera

I took 179 pictures on vacation with an eight mp camera and only used 1/2 the space on this disk. I took an extra disk along, but didn't need to change this one out. fast and inexpensive, pictures came out as good as my old 35 mm. GMVB

I bought this card as a replacement for a friend and couldn't believe the cost! Great bargain for a full gigabyte.

No issues, Two thumbs up

Fits perfect to my need. I personally haven't used my camera for long movie shots, if you planning so, I would say 2 GB might be better. Depends on what you need.

Reliable memory, excellent speed

I bought this card nearly two years ago, and have never been disappointed with it. The one issue I had was after wiping it clean, there was about 160MB of storage space that appeared on the card to be full. I defragmented the card (available in properties), and saw all kinds of files being moved on the card. They were from another camera in which I'd tested the card to show it's speed, and oddly enough they didn't disappear when I deleted them (I wish I remembered the make and model of that camera). I formatted the card, and all the space came back. (Be certain that you have everything you need off your card before you format it!)

It's been to eastern Europe and back, and it has never missed a beat. Even when it had a portion that was inaccessible, the remainder of the memory worked no problem. I'm very happy with this card, which I originally purchased for my Panasonic DMC-FZ7 digital camera. I have not been disappointed!
