One of Oscar's best!

"Asi Soy..." has to be one of Oscar's very finest releases - and that's saying a lot, given his extensive catalogue. The man seldom disappoints, but this CD has incredible variety, from his customary salsa ("Vive Tu Vida") and merengue ("Adivinanza") gems all the way to a tejano-flavored duo with Rey Ruiz on "No Volvere" and a phenomenal, rock-infused "Lo Tuyo Es Mentira" that evokes the screaming guitar of Carlos Santana. The biting marital humor on "Se Acabo El Amor" (Love Is Over) will hit home with anyone. There's even an upbeat Christmas song to close the set, one that could become an instant classic. A winner!
