Conveniently store food scraps in this odor-eliminating stainless steel container. Store peelings, egg shells, coffee grounds, and vegetable scraps for transfer to your garden composter. The attractive satin finish composter holds 1 gallon and and has tight fitting lid with charcoal filter. Filters keep compost odorless up to six months. 10-1/2 high x 8 diameter.

Love it!

This composter is great. We used to use the cheap plastic one provided by our garbage company and it smelled terrible within 1 day. We now have no more "stink from the can." It holds tons of food scraps, and we only have to empty it every 2nd or 3rd day. We did get some mold growing on the inside of the lid, so just watch for that.

Beginning Composter

Good construction and excellent odor control (though I agree you should empty it into your compost bin at least once a week, to avoid bad odors when you take off the lid). I took the tip of another user and put used plastic vegetable bags from the grocery store to line the container--which makes it very easy to keep clean.

Beyond expectations

This product met all my expectations and more. Holds a good deal, filter assists to eliminate odor, eye pleasing and easy to clean. Would buy the same thing again without hesitation. It was the perfect gift for my avid composting fiance.
