Great pump for serious long term breast feeders

Yes it's expensive, but if you are serious about breastfeeding to 1 year or more, it is well worth it. Think about it, you are going to spend a lot of time pumping. It might as well be comfortable, more natural and from a well made product. One word of advise: some health insurance will give you a Medela pump (mine did while in the hospital), so check before you buy!

Over 1,500 Pumps and still going

I am a first time mom who took the advice of a friend and got this pump. My now 9 month old daughter would not latch properly. I desperately wanted her to have breast milk. So I decided to pump for as long as I could. My Medala is so comfortable and effective that I am still pumping (over 1,500 pumps) 10 months later. Everything is still working great, nothing has broken and best of all no sores.

Great pump!!!

I purchased the Pump In Style Advance backpack and am very satisfied! It arrived quickly and in excellent shape. I have used the Pump In Style for a while and this pump is an upgrade in that it has 2 phase technology which more closly simulated your baby's natural sucking. I am able to pump more oz. with this pump.

the best pump of the market by far!

I'm a working mother, it it weren't for this pump, my milk supply would be gone by now, thanks to this product my baby is 5 months and i can pump enough milk to leave while i'm out.(i do formula too since my baby boy its always hungry), people complain about pain and all that, but if you commit to breastfeed your baby, then you'll make it, it hurts a lil at the beginning but after a while it won't hurt anymore.

Good product

This is a good product. I used the Medela pump rented from the hospital for the first 2 weeks and worried that any pump I bought would not stand up to the hospital-grade quality. This In-Stype pump featured was pretty close to the hospital-grade pump in function. A bit noiser, but did just as good of a job -- and much more attractive and discreet.
