first time user

We bought this toy for our son who is 5 years old. He loves building things.
A fantastic way for him to use his imagination.
He loves to create and it keeps him busy for hours.
I only have (1) one problem with this product. It was missing a piece. I know it doesn't seem like much, but when you're following instructions on how to build something, and that piece is missing, you can't build it. My husband substituted another piece, but my son would not have thought of that. GREAT PRODUCT.

Challenging and different in a great way

This toy is very good. You can build some very interesting and different things...out of the box for regular blocks and toys. This is for the child with an imagination. My son and I (Grandpa) played with it while the kids where playing other games. It has many things to build and unusual things. Recently my grandson build a crab with claws..as you roll it the claws open and close. Very nice.

Great Fun. Not so fun Price

This is a great set for kids with imagination. NOT for the uninspired child. Get Lego's if that is the case, cheaper and the box shape is easy to play with. But if you have an over achiever as I do this is it. Lego's bore my son to tears. Not enough peices in it but I guess its thier way of getting you to buy more. The price is way to much for what you get. But my son does love them. If you lose a couple of peices which will happen because they are small, you cant make alot of the things in the book. Still good fun. If you can get over the price you'll be happy with these.

fun but hard for younger kids

My little sister (5 almost six) got these for christmas she likes them but I (11) have to make the stuff for her if she wants something in the book. Other thatn that these thing s are one of her favorite toys. she still makes stuff though even if it isn't in the booklet. Good for older kids not for younger. Hope you get them.
