Wonderfull!

The game was fun I love the fun levels different types of foes and cool multiplayer action. The main plot is that many bosses such as Scarecrow and Clayface and others are helping Sin Tzu capture gotham city but Batman stands in their way. Get this game it is very fun. P.S. I have never been a batman fan which makes it better.

This is a great game! great graphics too! you will have endless fun if you buy this game! i promise you that!!! there is even a 2 player adventure mode. you can be 4 heroes. batman of course,little robin,batgirl,and my all time favorite hero, knightwing! (older Robin) If you buy this game you will be sooo satisfied! trust me!

"Let the battle for Gotham city be joined!"

Hmm...I am back at it, again. Let's see what I'm reviewing today; oh, yes! That's it, Batman: Rise of Sin Tzu. Let's see what I can summon up on this. We'll start off with the story. The story starts off briefly with Batman making his way over to Crime Alley with some roses, to place down where his parent were shoot before his eyes, in memory of them. Then we flip our view point over to the arrogant, if not sadistical, Sin Tzu, who says, while he's standing over a model build of Gotham, "Let the battle for Gotham city be joined!" Then the view point is switched again, to the Gotham city prison, as a series of explosions erupt on it outer wall, with inmates escaping and overpowering a security officer. Once again, the view point changes to Arkham Asylum, as a series of explosions rock the path way leading to the building. The view changes back to Batman, where he senses that something the change and glances up toward the sky. He saw the bat-signal rippling against the sky and quickly got out his bat-communicator and contacted Commissioner Gordon. Gordon filled him slightly on what was happening. After he got off of the comm, he instantly found that he was up against two big, bad guys. Then you are sent into action. I'll let you find out the rest for yourself.
You will be fighting four main bad guys in this game. First: Scarecrow, followed by Clayface, Bane, and last but not least, Sin Tzu. The game will (ironically) have also, four super-heroes that you can play as: (you've probably heard it before, but I'll give it to you anyway) Batman, the new Robin, Nightwing, and last but not least, Batgirl. With these four super-heroes at your command, you can administer jaw smashing justice with your special moves (or gadgets) that you buy with your performance points after you finish every level. You can also two players for cooperative fights as you are in story mode. And the game has several sub-modes, like the Challenge Arena, where in four different arenas. There are also other oddities in the Bat Cave section of the menu list; where you can purchase models of heroes or villains or vehicles, or view some comic book strips with tokens that you can buy while you're working your way through story mode.
The animation in the game is, both in game and in the cinema tics, in my opinion, pretty blasted well done; or at least better than Batman Vengeance, though, that was a good Batman game that had an atmosphere about it. Some of the cinema tics are kind of sloppy, though. Unfortunately, this game doesn't have much atmosphere about it. Now it's time for some stuff that not is so good about this game. Let us get something straight right away: this is beat-them-up game. These kinds of games can get old really fast, but if you are ok with that, than go on ahead, be my guest and buy this game. The graphics in this game are much better than Batman Vengeance; the cinema tics on the other are not as good as Vengeance's. I personally think that the story is kind of lame, but that could just be me.
One of the good things in the game is that voice actors and actress are all the same ones form the New Batman Adventures.
Overall, I think Batman Vengeance is better. I give this game four out of five.

A Batman beat-em-up

Batman: Rise of Sin Tzu is a fairly decent brawler game that uses the art style established by the recent Bruce Timm cartoons. The Batman license is put to great use here, with graphics true to the animated series and lots of Batman-related unlockable goodies. They also got the original voice actors from the animated series (Kevin Conroy, Tara Strong, Ron Perlman, etc), giving the game an extra special touch.

However, there's a few problems. There isn't much enemy variety, and most of the backgrounds feel pretty bland. There's also an annoying mission objective with a timer that rushes you from screen to screen, making the experience feel more hurried than it should be. Overall it's fun to play through once by yourself, and a few times after that with a friend, but the game just isn't fun enough to play through multiple times to unlock everything. But seeing as Rise of Sin Tzu is relatively cheap now, it's a recommended purchase to Batman fans.

An improvement but still lacking greatness

I hated Batman: Vengeance and I was a little bit weary about playing this game. So I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was actually a fun little beat-em-up in the tradition of Streets of Rage and Double Dragon. However it is still quite a shallow game.

Each level looks exactly the same as you (as Batman, Robin, Batgirl or Nightwing) run around levels like the City Streets, the Sewers, Museums etc and beat-up generic looking villains. The graphics and levels look pretty but the scenery is rather flat and unengaging. Plus the upgrades with special moves are hardly that exciting though it is slightly fun using them to kick-in the heads of evil henchmen. But when you do it for the forty-millionth time it does get a bit boring.

And every level involves either defusing a bomb against 3-minute time limits and rescuing hostages against 3-minute time limits. Wow! But, like I said, it's still far better than Vengeance and the cut-scenes look lovely. And for the tiny amount of pennies that I paid for it I can hardly complain really.
