highly recommended

Why waste money buying box after box of paper filters? And why be caught short one morning when you suddenly realize you forgot to buy paper filters last time you went to the store? A permanent filter makes so much more sense.

Works well

This Coffee Filter has worked well for us over the past 3/4 of a year or so. No problems with it whatsoever. We are daily coffe drinkers, so gets lots of use.

Yep, it does the job!

It works as advertised! Although to be honest, other than the fact that the mesh is metallic and stiffer, I can't really tell any difference in performance between this and the white one that is included in the FTX41 and FTX49.

Definitely better than a paper filter though.

Works great!

I bought this filter a couple months back and love it. I wanted to test it out before leaving an honest review. I really wish I had invested in one of these permanent filters years ago. The coffee always tastes great, and clean up afterwards is quick and easy. I recommend this filter to anyone who has a coffeemaker in size that will accept it.

I paid too much!

At the regular price of about $15 I let this sit in my cart until it dropped to about $11 and change and I thought that was a god deal. A few days later I saw an almost identical item in Target for the regular price of $4.99 and it's probably the same manufacturer with different packaging. It fit perfectly in the 12 cup Mr. Coffee machine that I have since the Target had the same model on display to test the fit. Go to Target and get 2 or less than 1 on Amazon... actually 3 if Amazon still shows it at full price.

Good, but could be better

Great for the environment.
If it had screaning on the bottom, as well as the sides, like my old one,
it would be much easier to rinse clean.
