All is not lost if you've broken your coffee carafe. You don't need to invest in a new machine - simply replace the carafe.

Better than the original carafe!

As you might guess, I broke the original carafe that came with my Cuisinart coffee maker, and was happy to find this one on Amazon, which also had the best price compared to other internet sources. The glass on this replacement carafe is noticeably thicker and more durable than the original one. Aside from this improvement, it's exactly the same as the original, fits perfectly in the coffee maker, and still makes great coffee like before.

Replacement carafe costs more than some coffee makers

We broke the original carafe, and you cannot find a generic replacement carafe that is thin enough at the base or tall enough to hit the spring that releases coffee from the filter. Carafe works great, but overpriced.
