capacity, this is a most versatile
saucepan
. It's also incredibly easy to use and own. Have you ever found yourself in that awkward position of
straining
cooked food - while cooking? This saucepan incorporates a unique design that integrates a built-in strainer to reduce the fuss and mess of meal preparation. The lid, made of see-through, break resistant glass, has a deep rim with optional straining holes. To strain, line the holes up with the pan's pour spouts and strain with ease. For
covered
cooking, rotate the lid to close the holes and moisture will stay inside the pan. To pour, remove the lid and use the pour spouts that are built into the pan body. Regardless of these convenient features, you've got a pan made of even heating hard anodized for great cooking performance plus a rugged nonstick surface inside and out for stress-free cleaning.

Love It.
I love this
saucepan
. I have used it for everything from boiling potatoes to deep frying artichokes and it has handled every task very well. I use it often and it has become one of my favorite pans.
I love that it is extra deep. The self-
straining
lid makes it easy to boil food and saves dirty dishes. It feels sturdy and well-made and I like the soft feel of the handle. Clean-up is easy.
I recommend it highly.
How could I cook without it
I consider this one of the most helpful items that I've purchase in a long while. I've found a dozen uses for this pot and it is so esy to keep clean and so useful.

Send me the whole set!!
I love it! I'm thinking the whole set will be on my Christmas wish list! It's perfect!
3-1/2 Analon Saucepan
The pan and top are well made and the pouring spout allows drainage of the liquids without pouring out the contents. A lot easier than using a
straining
utensil.
very good pan
I bought this pan to cook candy because it is tall and narrower by at least an inch than All Clad. This allows the bulb of the thermometer to be under the liquid. The pan performed very well and its being non-stick is great for candy making. I agree with a previous reviewer about the lid, which does not fit tight; however, this did not seem to be an issue to make candy where you often have to put the lid on to trap steam to dissolve any sugar crystals. Even with the somewhat loose-fitting lid, the steam still formed (you can see it through the glass lid). I think it is a good idea, if you buy this for candy-making, to reserve it for that purpose only; if you use it for other things it will soon be scratched. Even with a wooden spoon there were barely seeable marks from the wooden spoon. But all in all a very good buy for the money.
