Don't cry over spilled coffee, or a broken carafe! Simply replace the one that's no longer viable and get on with your life.

Works just like the original

I accidentally broke the original carafe, and while I could not find the original red colored carafe, this one is exactly the same, but in black. It works very well.

Cuisinart DCC-12PBRC 12-CUP REPLACEMENT CARAFE

This is the replacement for what I believe is the original Cuisinart coffee maker and works well although the lid sometimes does not snap into place on the first try (after washing). I was very happy to have found it through Amazon, as I do not think the original (no bells & whistles)coffee maker is produced/distributed any longer.
